First Release of ‘Battleship Island’, Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub, and Song Joong Ki at Cannes Film Festival
The first still cut of THE three men from ‘Battleship Island’, Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub, and Song Joong Ki, at the Cannes Film Market attracted public attention.
On May 17th, Cannes Film Festival is opened in Cannes, France. The poster of the anticipated summer movie, ‘Battleship Island’, is also present in the event.
CJ Entertainment, as the distributor of the film ‘Battleship Island’, puts the poster ‘Battleship Island’ along with their main cast members, Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub and Song Joong Ki, in their market booth. In addition, there are black and white posters depicting their escape also attracted public’s attention.
Hwang Jung Min plays the role of ‘Lee Kang Ok’ who is fooled by the temptation to send him and his daughter to Japan. So Ji Sub plays ‘Choi Chil Sung’, the best fighter in Kyungsung, while Song Joong Ki plays the role of ‘Park Moo Young’, a member of the Korean independence group.
In addition to them, there are other ‘Battleship Island’ casts, Lee Jung Hyun and Kim Soo Ahn. The film itself has completed the filming process and is scheduled to release next summer.
