Post Billboard Win, BTS is Continuing Their WINGS Tour in Australia and Japan
Idol group BTS is currently undergoing various overseas schedules. They are reportedly receiving a lot of offers after seizing international public’s attention in Billboard Music Award.
After stealing American people’s interest, the group is now called as one of the most promising world star from Asia. They are now busy undergoing various shooting and interview schedules.
After completing their schedule in USA, BTS are departing to Australia to continue their WINGS Tour in the continent on May 26. From Australia, the tour will continue in Japan from May 30 to July 2. Tickets for all Japan shows are reportedly sold out.
Meanwhile, on May 22, BTS succeeded in taking home the ‘Top Social Artist’ award at ‘ Billboard Music Awards’, beating the names of other world star artists such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and Shawn Mendes.
The ‘Top Social Artist’ category winner was decided based on the number of album and digital sales, streaming, number of radio broadcasts, number of shows, and social media engagement between March 18, 2016 and March 16, 2017.
This was quite a big achievement as Justin Bieber had always won this category for 6 years in a row since 2011, yet this year, BTS managed to take over the victory and scored a new history as the first K-POP group to win ‘Top Social Artist’ award.
