EXO Managed to Sell Over 7,7 Billion Won Tickets in EXORDIUM World Tour
EXO held an encore concert titled ‘EXO Planet #3 – EXO’R’dium [dot]’ on May 28th at Seoul Olympic Stadium.
“EXO has just celebrated our 5th anniversary,” EXO’s leader Su Ho said at the Seoul Olympic Stadium before singing the ‘happy birthday’ song with the other members.
Approximately 35 thousand EXO fans were present to support them. The fans always gave extraordinary reactions in every appearance of EXO members.
Chanyeol conveyed his feelings. “After nearly a year of doing concerts abroad, we have finally returned to Seoul. Truly, concerts in Korea are second to none.” Then Xiumin said, “I miss you so much. This is our first time performing at this venue, so I’m a little nervous. ”
The total audience in EXo’s third world tour is allegedly numbered up to 610 thousand spectators. The public also paid great attention to the encore concert because it was EXO’s first performance at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.
EXo’s encore concert venue, Seoul Olympic Stadium, has an audience capacity of 40 to 50 thousand people. This place is often used as a venue for great legendary musicians such as H.O.T, GOD, Jo Yong Pil, Lee Mun Se, Seo Tae Ji, Lee Seung Cheol and Lee Seung Hwan.
EXO managed to gather about 70 thousand people and sold up to 7.7 billion won tickets.
Unfortunately, that day, a member, Lay could not attend the cocnert. SM said that Lay could not participate because of his individual schedule.
Despite the lack of one member, EXO still gave their best performance. They performed about 31 songs for 3 hours, from the song ‘Lotto’, to their latest winter single, ‘For Life’.
