‘School 2017’ Will Kim Jung Hyun and Jang Dong Yoon Be Able to Follow Lee Jong Suk and Nam Joo Hyuk’s Success?
One by one, the casts of ‘School 2017’ is revealed. The presence of these new stars is attracting the public’s attention.
On June 7, KBS 2TV ‘School 2017’ confirmed that Kim Jung Hyun and Jang Dong Yoon will be the main casts of this series. They will both play as Hyun Tae Woon and Song Dae Hwi respectively.
Previously, Gugudan Kim Se Jeong is also confirmed to be the female lead character in this drama. The news itself has been a hot topic among the public.
‘School 2017’ is a drama which showcases the newcomers in the Korean drama industry whose age is between 10 to early 20s. This drama is started in 1999 which is called ‘School 1’, then in 2013 with the name ‘School 2013’, and the newest one is released in 2015, ‘Who Are You – School 2015’. This series in total has released 6 dramas.
‘School 1’ is played by Jang Hyuk, Ahn Jae Mo, Choi Kang Hee, and Bae Doo Na. ‘School 2’ is played by Kim Rae Won, Kim Min Hee, and Ha Ji Won. ‘School 3’ includes Jo In Sung and Lee Dong Wook. ‘School 4’ features Im Soo Jung and Gong Yoo. Then ‘School 2013’ is played by Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin, whereas ‘Who Are You – School 2015’ features Kim So Hyun, Nam Joo Hyuk, and Yook Sung Jae. These popular stars had once starred in this ‘School’ series.
Firstly, there is Kim Jung Hyun who will be acting as an exemplary student named Hyun Tae Woon. The main character of ‘School’ must always have a model student type of characters.
Kim Jung Hyun had previously acted as a stiff student in the SBS drama ‘Jealousy Incarnate’.
Jang Do Yon acts as Song Dae Hwi, a class leader who is perfect in everything, from academics, looks, to personality. The character is similar to the character played by Shim Ji Ho, Gong Yoo, Nam Joo Hyuk, and more.
Meanwhile, ‘School 2017’ is a drama which focuses on the issues faced by 18-year-old students. This drama will present entertaining stories for the audience without changing the title like the previous drama. This drama will replace ‘Fight for My Way’ and is scheduled to release in July.
