‘Bride of the Water God’ Is Different From ‘Goblin’
Through the ‘Goblin’, the tvN who is leading in the entertainment industry will bring the story of the gods again. The love story between the common girl, Shin Se Kyung and the male god Nam Joo Hyuk will be shown through a new romantic comedy drama from tvN, ‘Bride of the Water God 2017’.
The drama will be starring Shin Se Kyung, Nam Joo Hyuk, Im Joo Hwan, Jung Soo Jung, Gong Myung, and other actors. The drama is planned to start airing on July 27th as the new tvN’s Monday to Tuesday drama.
‘Bride of the Water God 2017’ is a romantic fantasy comedy drama about the water god coming to earth, Ha Baek (Nam Joo Hyuk) and someone who is destined to become the slave of God from generation to generation, the very realistic female doctor So A (Shin Se Kyung). This work is a spin-off from the original manhwa’s work, in which there is a classic fantasy, and this work manages a new look.
‘Bride of the Water God 2017’ is a drama that is adapted from a popular manhwa and has become a topic from the planning stage. It sets on various backgrounds that have never been seen in a drama, god’s world and the human world; Past, present, and future.
With Shin Se Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk, Im Joo Hwan, Jung Soo Jung, to Gong Myung, ‘Bride of the Water God 2017’ got a lot of attention.
Shin Se Kyung plays as So A who becomes a psychology doctor and slave of the god, Nam Joo Hyuk becomes the water god, Ha Baek, with pride and indifference up to the bone. Both of them will have a love story that has been destined to happen between them. Im Joo Hwan is perfect as a god, being a man who takes care of his parents’ company, Krystal (Jung Soo Jung) as Moo Ra, becomes a top artist who descended from the god world, and Gong Myung as Bi Ryum a god who is expelled to the Earth and becomes a king of a group. They are the actors with their respective roles that create an interesting plot in the drama.
‘Bride of the Water God 2017’ is scheduled to start airing on July 3 at 22.50 KST.
