Park Bo Gum Is Reported to be Starring in ‘Hwayugi’
Actor Park Bo Gum agreed to appear in the tvN drama ‘Hwayugi’ (the title is still tentative).
‘Hwayugi’ is a romantic fantasy drama about Son O Gon that has a serious problem and Jin Sun Mi, a pompous and unique lawyer, who will find the light in the dark world where the demons rise in 2017. They will recreate the ancient novel ‘ New Journey to the West ‘in a modern form.
‘Hwayugi’ as the start of Hong Ja Mae will be played by Hong Jung Eun, Hong Mi Ran, and another casting is still in progress. Park Bo Gum as Son O Gon is looking at his script, Cha Seung Won who will play as the king of ‘Woo Ma’ is also looking at his script. The casting will be done quickly once the main cast has been determined.
The screenwriter of the currently airing tvN drama, ‘Secret Forest’, Kim Eun Hee, upon completion of this drama, will start writing her new drama script ‘Deserving of the Name’. The work to be done between ‘Deserve of the Name’ and ‘Hwayugi’ remains unclear.
‘Hwayugi’ will premiere in December.
