‘Couple of the Century’ Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will get married on October 31, 2017. The couple announced the news at a press conference on July 5, “Both will get married on October 31”. Through his Fancafe, Song Joong Ki said, “With the start of the new year in 2017, we will both make a promise to live together for the rest of our lives. I will marry Song Hye Kyo in October 2017, to complete each other and to start a new life where we struggle together”.
Until recently both confirmed their wedding date. They plan to meet in the near future and decide the preparations for their marriage.
Both sides have always denied the special relationship that took place between them and suddenly announced the marriage news. Hearing the news, fans in Korea and abroad were shocked to hear it. “Marriage is not just about individuals but also families of both sides. Therefore we have to be careful in many ways”, the two sides announced a marriage that surprised their fans.
Now the couple is named ‘SongSong’s Wife and Husband’ and no longer ‘SongSong Couple’. Their relationship has been blooming since 2 years ago. KBS 2TV drama ‘Descendants of the Sun’ which was aired in February, both have been lovers for 6 months in the drama from June to December 2015.
And it is well known that both have felt the same feelings. For about a month, they both spent time filming in Greece with beautiful scenery. In the drama, there is a growing affection between Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo which continues into a pair of lovers.
Since that time, they started a relationship in 2016. They always meet each day by completing the filming process together. They often spend time together after the filming process is over. Song Hye Kyo rarely attends an event except for the official event, Song Joong Ki’s fan meeting in China and various awards show.
Meanwhile, after their marriage, the couple will occupy the house located in Itaewon, Seoul, where Song Joong Ki has bought it at the end of January. The agency said, “Even though the house prices are rising, he buys a house in a hurry. Maybe it’s time to make a decision to get married”.
