‘Ruler’ Yoo Seung Ho VS L, The Real Fight That Determines Joseon’s Fate
The fight for the throne begins. The real king and the fake king face each other, the war for the fate of Joseon adds to the tension for the ending.
On July 6th, in MBC’s ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’, the episode showed the meeting of Yoo Seung Ho (Lee Seon the crown prince) and L (Lee Seon the commoner) in Geunjeongjeon, both wearing masks. Both claim to be the true king and conflicts are getting heated up.
Yo Seung Ho will not hide and for the sake of his people, he promised to re-seize his throne. Yoo Seung Ho asks Lee Dae Ro (the waiter) for help. Lee Dae Ro was touched by the sincerity of the crown prince who thought of his people and was willing to help.
Yoo Seung Ho and Lee Dae Ro deliberately provide information to Heo Joon Ho (Dae Mok) before the security is tightened and help Yoo Seung Ho enter the palace. The plan worked. He made it into the palace until the ritual.
Inside Geunjeongjeon, Yoo Seung Ho and L meet. L promises to return everything to Yoo Seung Ho but wishes to have Kim So Hyun (Han Ga Eun) and his growing ambitions are getting stronger. He betrays Yoo Seung Ho and works with Pyeonsoo and Heo Joon Ho.
His current opponent is his friend. The king is in one place, the false king and the real king meet each other. At the approaching ending that feels so fast, viewers are made curious who will eventually become the real ruler of the throne.
