Casts of ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’ Express Their Feelings After the Drama Ends
MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama, ‘Ruler – Master of the Mask’ ended on July 13th. Cast members Yoo Seung Ho, Kim So Hyun, L (Kim Myung Soo), and Yoon So Hee delivered a heartfelt message to the audience who have given them their enthusiastic support and affection and gratitude until the end of filming.
Yoo Seung Ho who portrayed the Crown Prince said, “All those time during the winter until the long summer, I’ve been spending it with different artists and staffs. We’ve been working hard on shooting the drama well. It feels good. Sometimes it also felt heavy, but overall, every time was a happy time.”
Kim So Hyun, who played the role of Ga Eun, conveyed, “It’s been such a pleasant memory. There were many exhausting points, but for me, it was a very big experience. I’m happy because starring in this drama feels like a gift for me.”
L (Lee Myung Soo), who excellently showed emotional change as his status changed from a commoner to a puppet king, said, “I’m happy to have been working with the actors, producers, and good staffs.”
Yoon So Hee (Hwa Goon) said, “I am grateful to the long-standing actors and the producers and the staff who suffered more,” Se also expressed her sadness and delight, “I’ve become very familiar with the actors now. I wish I could continue to have a good relationship with them. I also appreciate and love the audiences who have watched this drama.”
On the other hand, in the last episode of ‘Ruler’, the Crown Prince and Ga Eun promised to live together forever. Lee Seon sacrificed his life to keep Ga Eun alive. At the last moment, he opened his heart to the Crown Prince.
Dae Mok (Heo Joon Ho) passed away. He declined the offer of the Crown Prince, who said, “I will avenge your son, Woo Jae (Kim Byung Chul).” Pyeon Soo Hoe collapsed, and his men went away to find their own happiness.
At the end, the Crown Prince recalled the faces of those who have sacrificed their lives for him and promised to serve as the ‘real King’.
