‘Hospital Ship’ recently released some still cuts of Ha Ji Won’s appearance as a doctor in the drama.
In MBC’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday’s drama ‘Hospital Ship’, Ha Ji Won plays the role of Song Eun Jae, a surgeon who performs a surgery on a hospital ship. This is the first time Ha Ji Won acts a doctor since her debut, but due to her acting skill and enthusiasm, Ha Ji Won has earned the trust of viewers, who are eagerly awaiting this drama.
Ha Ji Won proves her determination by practicing and demonstrating a good acting. The actress admitted that she is actually afraid of blood, but for the sake of her role, she watched various surgery videos from Youtube, medical dramas, and documentaries. Ha Ji Won even bought an anatomy book and practiced performing a surgery using banana peels. She said, “When I do a role, I will be curious about what people think, fear, and do in that area. I read a lot of essays made by doctors.”
In addition, Ha Ji Won also cut her hair short for this drama. “I’m happy to prepare the character of Song Eun Jae. I have not had short hair for a long time, I didn’t expect this to be very comfortable.”
