V, Joy, and Kai To Join As Actors!
Korean Idols who attempt to spread their wings into the world of Korean drama are attracting attention from the public. BTS’ V, Red Velvet’s Joy, EXO’s Kai are currently leading the bandwagon.
V (Kim Tae Hyung), who debuted in 2013, just debuted as an actor through KBS2’s drama ‘Hwarang’. He plays a role as Han Sung, the youngest member of Hwarang. Despite not having many scenes, V gets a positive feedback from the public because he suits Han Sung who is full of curiosity.
After debuting in 2014, Red Velvet’s Joy is now challenging her own acting skill by getting a role as Yoon So Rim, the main character in tvN’s upcoming drama ‘The Liar and His Lover’. Her drama will start airing on March, replacing tvN’s previous drama ‘Introverted Boss’.
‘The Liar and His Lover’ is a romance drama about a songwriter named Kang Han Kyul (Lee Hyun Woo), who is hiding his real identity, and Yoon So Rim ‘Vitamin Voice’, a high school girl who falls in love with him at the first sight.
In addition, Kai will also appear as the main cast in KBS2’s drama ‘Andante’ as a high schooler who suddenly moves out into the countryside and faces nature.
