With The Show Coming To An End, ‘Goblin’ Leaves A Lasting Impression

“Goblin” has officially ended, but the traces that the show left behind are not easy to forget. From the keywords on sites such as Naver to surveys and OST, “Goblin” is still everywhere. This is the era of “Goblin”.

The last episode of “Goblin” (21/1) showed Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) couple, followed by Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook) and Sunny (Yoo In Na) who had finished their tragic destiny and finally had their own happy ending.

“Goblin” has been a hot topic ever since its first episode aired in last December thanks to Kim Eun Sook as the scriptwriter and Lee Eung Bok as the director. From Gong Yoo who had the role as the lonely Goblin to Lee Dong Wook as the adorable Grim Reaper, the drama would not hit a great success if it was not for the actors and the actresses that could perform each character perfectly.

The bromance between Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook also becomes the center of attention. The other supporting casts such as Lee El, Jo Woo Jin, and Kim Byung Chul are getting compliments from the public as well.

The soundtracks of this drama also hit a success. Crush’s ‘Beautiful’, Chanyeol ft. Punch’s ‘Stay With Me’, Lasse Lindh’s ‘Hush’, Ailee’s ‘I Will Go to You Like the First Snow’, and the rest of the soundtracks are conquering the music charts, proving the power of “Goblin”.

If from the production team until the actors and actresses did not give their best performances, the public’s response towards this drama might not be as this big. It seems the drama will still be a hot topic for quite a while.
