Asian Fans Gathered Near Song Joong Ki-Song Hye Kyo’s Wedding Venue
Actor Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo got married on the 31st, and the neighborhood near the Shilla Hotel in Seoul has been crowded since dawn.
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo held a wedding ceremony at Shilla Hotel at 4 pm on the same day. All the entrances here were secured by security guards since morning. The hotel has prepared an outdoor wedding ceremony of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo.
Although the venue was guarded well, outside the hotel looked very crowded by fans from all over Asia even in cold weather. Fans from Asia, including China, Japan, Philippines, and Malaysia, were waiting for the wedding.
The wedding ceremony, which was held privately and invited only 300 guests, took place without a traditional ceremony. The invited guests are Song Joong Ki’s friends during his school days and singers Ok Joo Hyun, then actors Yoo Ah In and Lee Kwang Soo read congratulatory letters. There was also actor Park Bo Gum who played the piano. Song Joong Ki was predicted to sing for Song Hye Kyo, and there was speculation that Park Bo Gum will accompany him.
The residence for the newlyweds is located in a single house in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, purchased by Song Joong Ki in January.
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo became a couple last year through KBS drama ‘Descendants of the Sun’, they got a good response and were loved by the public.
Song Joong Ki appeared in the movie ‘Battleship Island’ which was released in July. Song Hye Kyo is taking a break and looking for her next job after ‘Descendants of the Sun’.
