The last episode of the SBS drama, which was aired on January 25th, shows the reunion between Sim Chung (Jun Ji Hyun) and Heo Joon Jae (Lee Min Ho) after three years of separation.
During the three years, Joon Jae studies in law school and become a prosecutor. On the other hand, Jo Nam Doo (Lee Hee Joon) takes use of his public speaking skill and become a professional tax instructor.
Joon Jae does not reveal the reason behind his motivation to become a prosecutor. “It seems to be caused by something but I cannot remember it.” Then after he drinks an alcohol, Joon Jae cries while saying, “I miss you.”
Likewise, Chung also experience the same thing. She cries a lot and yields a lot of crystals from her tears.
At last, Chung comes back. She orders clothes from online shopping and trades her crystals into money. This time, her way back to Seoul has become easier because she has a lot of money.
After three years, Chung is looking for Joon Jae’s home again. Although Nam Doo cannot remember anything about Chung, she remembers everything. When she meets Joon Jae again, Joon Jae cannot remember her as well, so Chung cannot express her love for him. She settles into making sure that Joon Jae is okay, and then she will go back to the sea.
Suddenly, when Chung is sitting quietly, Joon Jae appears in front of her, exactly like the first time they meet each other. Though Chung has erased Joon Jae’s memory, Joon Jae still remembers Chung because he has written down everything far before Chung disappears. Using his notes, Joon Jae has been trying to find Chung again. Finally, the two of them are back together and rekindle their love story.
