Mnet to Broadcast ‘BTS Performance’ at American Music Award 2017 Exclusively
American Music Awards 2017 will be held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA and aired for the first time in Korea on Mnet on (20/11) at 10 am KST. BTS is the first K-Pop group and becomes the only Asian musician invited to perform on the show. Mnet will air their performance live.
The 45th AMA is one of the top three music awards in the United States in addition to the Billboard Music Awards and Grammy Awards.
In addition, the award-winning category in the AMA 2017 awards caught the attention of fans. Currently, Bruno Mars becomes the most nominated artist and there are other nominated artists this year including Chain Smoker, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Ed Sheeran. The audience is curious about anyone who will win this prestigious award. Line-up performance has also been released. Christina Aguilera will feature a tribute for Whitney Huston, as well as other prominent pop artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Selena Gomez, Diana Ross, Imagine Dragons and Pink will show their spectacular performances. There is one Asian musician among the singers. It is BTS who won the ‘Top Social Artist’ award at the Billboard Music Awards in May and has shown themselves as a global star. In this event, BTS will perform the song ‘DNA’ in the album ‘LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her’ at American Music Award.
The AMA 2017 award ceremony will be broadcasted live in Korea via Mnet on Monday (20/11) at 10 am KST.
