Kim Min Seok Talks about The Intense Ending of ‘Defendant’ Episode 6
Actor Kim Min Seok appeared as the scene stealer in the latest episode of ‘Defendant’. The episode, which was aired on February 7, was finished with a chilling and intense ending, earning it the highest viewer rating.
On February 8 through SBS, Kim Min Seok said, “Even though my acting still lacks a lot, I’m very grateful to the viewers for praising me. I’m happy if the viewers enjoyed it.” Kim Min Seok also revealed that his secret to play such an intense ending was by keep practicing the scene.
In episode 6, Park Jeon Woo (Ji Sung) tried to kill himself out of guilt. At the moment, Sung Gyoo (Kim Min Seok) said, “I did it.” After that, Seong Gyoo sung a song that was often sung by Park Jeong Woo’s daughter, Ha Yeon. Park Jeong Woo got furious and asked “Who are you?!” to which Seong Gyoo answered, “Brother.”
Kim Min Seok explained, “I practiced the whole scene, especially for the ending of episode 6, I did an in-depth discussion with Ji Sung Hyung. Hyung helped me a lot.” Min Seok focused on his expression while acting. “Sung Gyoo is actually a warm-hearted person. When I act this part, I kept thinking how I should portray this through his expression, eye gaze, voice, and others.”
