Park Bo Gum and Song Joong Ki Beat EXO in ‘2017 Power Celebrity’
In the ‘2017 Power Celebrity’ list released by Forbes Korea, Park Bo Gum and Song Joong Ki occupy first and second place.
Park Bo Gum became famous after starring in ‘Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds.’ Song Joong Ki who played a strong yet soft character in ‘Descendants of the Sun’ occupy the second position by a narrow margin. After starring in highly popular dramas, the two of them successfully entered the list and instantly got top positions.
Idol group EXO, who were on 1st position of ‘Power Celebrity’ in 2015-2016, are dropped in to 4th position. Girls Generation, Bigbang, and IU, who respectively got 4th, 6th, and 9th position last year, are now out of the list.
Since 2009, Forbes Korea release a list of 40 best celebrities every year, something that is similar to Forbes America’s ‘Celebrity 100’. Park Bo Gum, the winner of this year’s list, is chosen for his excellence in career, professionalism, and sales.
