When Mo Yeon came home, she found Shi Jin waiting for her. Then they went to a cafe, where Shi Jin explained to Mo Yeon that he had been gone because he was called for duty. Shi Jin refused to give Mo Yeon any details about the place that he was sent to or the kind of job that Shi Jin did, and Mo Yeon was clearly disappointed by it. She decided that their relationship could not go anywhere and left the place.

Meanwhile in Korea, Kang Mo Yeon was still doing a medical TV show. After a shooting, Chairman Lee of Haesung Hospital invited her for a dinner. However, Chairman Lee then acted impudently by asking Mo Yeon to ‘do something more’ in his room. Infuriated, Mo Yeon hit Chairman Lee with her bag.

The next day, all of the doctors in Haesung Hospital had a meeting. One of the topics that were discussed was regarding the volunteers that the hospital was going to send to Urk. Out of the blue, Chairman Lee announced that Kang Mo Yeon had been assigned to be the leader of the volunteering team. Though surprised, Mo Yeon understood that the Chairman’s reason was because of the previous night’s incident.

Mo Yeon’s group finally arrived in Urk. It turned out that the soldiers who picked them up from the airport were Shi Jin’s soldier. This was the moment Mo Yeon realized that Shi Jin’s occupation was a soldier. However, when Shi Jin and his subordinates came to stand in front of Mo Yeon’s group, Shi Jin did not greet Mo Yeon and kept walking pass her. Mo Yeon was surprised at his behavior.
