Han Suk Kyu and Kim Rae Won in ‘Prison’
In this first half of 2017, a movie that has been awaited for a long time, ‘Prison’, starring Han Suk Kyu and Kim Rae Won, will surprise audience with its interesting storyline.
‘Prison’ is an action movie that focuses on the convicts’ lives inside a prison cell. There’s going to be two interesting characters here: One, an absolute leader of the convicts, Ik Ho, which is going to be portrayed by Han Suk Kyu, and two, an ex-police who’s thrown to prison after getting involved in a crime, Yoo Gun, which is going to be portrayed by Kim Rae Won.
The actors who play those characters, Han Suk Kyu and Kim Rae Won, have actually known each other for about 7 years. They are also quite close in real life. However, in order to concentrate during shooting, Han Suk Kyu and Kim Rae Won tried not to show their closeness. This was done especially to bring out the characters’ traits, as Ik Ho and Yoo Gun in the movie have a strained relationship which lead them not to talk to each other.
‘Prison’ will be released on March 23.
