First Episode of ‘Radiant Office’: Go Ah Sung’s Hard Life
Will this drama becomes the representative of youth who lost their dreams and hope? ‘Radiant Office’ presented not only the harsh and saddening, but also hilarious reality of being youth.
In the first episode of MBC’s new drama ‘Radiant Office’, Eun Ho Won (Go Ah Sung) was desperate after getting rejected for the 100th time by a company.
Eun Ho Won is a girl who led a difficult life, trying to find a steady job while taking on various part-time works. In her latest interview test, despite trying her best, Eun Ho Won still failed and only ended up receiving nasty words from Seo Woo Jin (Ha Suk Jin).
Eun Ho Won’s situation got worse when her mother had to be hospitalized. As her daughter, Ho Won had to pay the room bill. Unable to hide her hopelessness and disappointment of life, Ha Won came to the bridge above Han River. Stupidly, Ha Won accidentally slipped and fell. She lost unconsciousness and found herself in an emergency care unit when she woke up.
After that, Ho Won received the news that her documents passed the selection process; however, she had to undergo one more interview test with Seo Woo Jin, the evil interviewer from the last time.
Even from the first episode, it’s clear that ‘Radiant Office’ tries to highlight some hard situations on someone’s life, so hard that the girl even contemplated to jump into the Han River. Ho Won, however, then realized that she was not the only one who had such a sad life. Besides her, other characters such as Do Ki Taek and Jang Kang Ho whom she met in the hospital also had similar situations. Hoewever, not all of the aspects in this drama are gloomy and saddening. ‘Radiant Office’ throws in the much needed humor and messages regarding spirit of life in as well.
