‘She Loves to Lie’: The Refreshing First Episode
On March 20, tvN premiered its new Monday – Tuesday drama, ‘She Loves to Lie’.
In the first episode, the love story between the cold Lee Hyun Woo and the kindhearted Joy started. Yoon So Rim (Joy) first saw Kang Han Kyeol (Lee Hyun Woo) in a bus station when she was going to an audition.
Fearing that her guitar would get wet due to the heavy rain, So Rim decided to wait in the bus station. Seeing her, Kang Han Kyeol decided to give her his umbrella and instantly ran away.
A few days later, Yoon So Rim saw Han Kyeol again in Han River area when she was cycling. Han Kyeol, who had just gotten a new inspiration for a song, wanted to record it. However, because his phone died, Han Kyeol grabbed Yoon So Rim’s phone and recorded his idea in her phone.
Seeing that, So Rim instantly fell in love with Han Kyeol. She listened to Han Kyeol’s recording in her phone repeatedly. To her friends, So Rim said, “I think I like someone.” In the following scene, So Rim sang Han Kyeol’s song in her audition. Their love story has started.
The first episode of ‘She Loves to Lie’ managed to give impression of a refreshing love story with its musical drama-like scenes. It was also apparent that Joy and Lee Hyun Woo had a good chemistry.
