‘Saimdang’ Choi Cheol Ho Got Exiled
Episode 18 (23/3) of SBS ‘Saimdang’ showed the peaceful life of Saimdang (Lee Young Ae) after her painting won the Goryeoji competition.
In the present day, the real painting of Mount Geungang which was in Seo Ji Yoon (Lee Young Ae)’s hands got stolen by Min Jung Hak. Min Jung Hak was afraid if Seo Ji Yoon told the public that the painting was fake.
In the past, Saimdang should compete with Whieumdang (Oh Yoon Ah) in Goryeoji competition. Saimdang won in the end and defeated Whieumdang.
After Goryeoji competition had ended, Lee Gyeom reported everything that Min Chi Hyung did to King Jongjong. King Jongjong who got upset then gave an order to throw Min Chi Hyung to Hamgyong Province.
Saimdang then met Lee Gyeom and said, “I wouldn’t be able to pass this without your help”. Lee Gyeom replied, “I did all of these not to hear your gratitude”, and took Saimdang’s hand.
Two years had passed, Saimdang lived peacefully in a small village while continuing to paint. Her daughter turned out to have the same skill as her and her son had finished his study and made her proud.
