Ok Taecyeon vs Im Siwan, Competition on Movies Before Going to Military Service
Top celebrities who are going to the military this year will appear on the big screen. These actors include Im Siwan and Ok Taecyeon. The two share a similarity, both are from a boy group. Even though they debuted as a singer, their quality as an actor is also good.
Im Siwan and Ok Taecyeon will compete against each other through their respective movie, ‘One Line’ which is released on March 29 and ‘house of the Disappeared’ which will be released on April 5.
Im Siwan ‘One Line’
‘One Line’ is a criminal movie which tells the story of an ordinary college student named Min Jae (Im Siwan) who met a legend in the criminal world named Suk goo (Jin Goo). They collaborated to steal money from the bank.
Im Siwan plays as Vice Min who is a rising star in the debt industry. This character shows an innocent look with a brilliant way of speaking.
Ok Taecyeon ‘House of the Disappeared’
‘House of the Disappeared’ is a ‘House Mystery Thriller’ movie which tells the story of a housewife named Mi Hee (Kim Yon Jin) who witnessed her husband’s death and lost her children. After 25 years being imprisoned, she was back to the house and underwent an intense incident.
In this movie, Ok Taecyeon plays as Priest Choi who is the only person that Mi Hee trust. This character gives a suggestion to Mi Hee to do a confession which then reveals what really happened 25 years ago.
Siwan needs another show that can represent him after ‘Misaeng’, meanwhile Ok Taecyeon slowly becomes a top star through ‘House of the Disappeared’. Even though the genre of the two movies is different, it cannot be denied that the two will have a tough competition. Who will dominate the movie industry in April?
