tvN “Taxi”, ‘THE K2”s Ji Chang Wook and Yoona Appear as Guests
In the September 27th edition of tvN’s “Taxi”, Lee Young Ja mentioned Ji Chang Wook’s popularity in China, and Ji Chang Wook admitted that an event in China was canceled due to a massive crowd assembled to meet him. Ji Chang Wook showed modest attitude by saying, “I am very grateful for all the love I get. It is not like we speak the same language, but it is so fascinating to see the fans from other countries take give all these support to me.”
Ji Chang Wook said, “When actors see their scripts, they doubt it at first. The first thought that comes into our minds is, ‘Can we really do this?’. In the case of ‘THE K2’, there was not anything like that. The relationship between characters was really interesting.” He showed his affection for the drama, and also mentioned how he got to become friends with Yoona.
Also, Ji Chang Wook and Yoona met their fans at Myeongdong. Ji Chang Wook gave out free hugs at the request of his fans. Yoona spoke in Chinese with a fan from overseas, and her fluent Chinese skills could be seen.
Lee Young Ja asked Yoona whether if she had actually ‘went for the auditions 200 times in order to act”, and Yoona replied by saying, “Before debuting as a member of SNSD, I think I went for that amount of auditions for not only dramas but also advertisements. There were some that actually I got to shot because I passed the auditions, and I think I developed some confidence from those experiences.”
