IU and Kim Soo Hyun Display Lovely Chemistry in Teaser for ‘Ending Scene’ MV
Singer IU and actor Kim Soo Hyun are currently gaining public attention. On April 14, IU’s agency released the teaser of ‘Ending Scene’, the singer’s next title track from her fourth album, ‘Palette’, which is going to be officially released on April 21.
The teaser became a hot topic as IU, who’s well known for her high sensibility to make quality videos, is collaborating with her close friend, Kim Soo Hyun, the main star of the MV.
IU and Kim Soo Hyun are long time close friends. They first worked together in 2011 for KBS’ drama ‘Dream High’. In 2015, they also worked in another KBS drama called ‘Producer’, where they were paired as a couple. When the production team was discussing the music video, it was IU herself who suggested to choose Kim Soo Hyun as the star, which fortunately, the actor instantly agreed. This music video would be IU and Kim Soo Hyun’s reunion after 2 years.
The music video teaser shos what seems like some flashbacks of the moments when IU and Kim Soo Hyun met in a library, and then moves forward to the present time, in which they were shown sitting side by side in a backstage. It is as if there’s a certain drama-like story in the music video, making fans and viewers all the more curious about ‘Ending Scene’.
