From Red Velvet’s Seulgi to IOI’s Somi, 7 Idol Girl Group Members Will Show Their Different Colors in ‘Idol Drama Operation Team’
A new drama group made of seven idol girl group members called ‘Idol Drama Operation Team’ has been born!
Last week, ‘Idol Drama Operation Team’ had released members’ individual teasers, showing their preparation before submitting their scripts, which are themed ‘Dream’, to the production team. Starting from Red Velvet’s Seulgi, the teasers were released everyday, at 10 AM KST through Naver TV channel. The video teasers instantly dominated the top ranks of Naver’s ‘Most Popular Video’ with 6 million viewers, something that is fantastic for a daily program.
Korean public responded positively to the teasers because the seven female idols (IOI Somi, Lovelyz’s Soo Jung, SONAMOO’S D.ana, IOI Kim So Hee, MAMAMOO’s Moon Byul, and Red Velvet’s Seulgi) could show their sincere confessions and real self in this program. Mamamoo’s Moon Byul shared her anxiousness that she could not even admit to her group members, Red Velvet’s Seulgi admitted that she once felt guilty for disappointing her company and the people around her, other members also talked about various things, from their desire to win music charts, a sad story of them having to ask money from their parents when they’re going through hard time, until their desperateness to debut soon. The members ‘bared it all’ in this show, and public loved them for it.
