Yoo Seung Ho’s Great Acting as the Crown Prince in ‘Ruler’ Makes Everyone On Set Feel Sad
In the story of ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’, MBC’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama, a Crown Prince is helped by a girl named Han Ga Eun to fight an illegal organization that wants to conquer public’s water supply. The role of Crown Prince is played by Yoo Seung Ho. Despite having a gentle nature, the Crown Prince is also strong.
Recently, the ‘Ruler’ team released a picture of Yoo Seung Ho, who’s only wearing a thin and frail-looking hanbok, kneeling in the ground while tears are streaming down his face. Yoo Seung Ho’s face is so full of emotion.
The picture was taken at North Gyeongsang Province in January 18. Before shooting the scene, Yoo Seung Ho practiced for a long time so he could cry naturally when the cameras started rolling. Yoo Seung Ho’s acting moved everyone on set, and the atmosphere became glum until finally the director said ‘Cut!’.
‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’ is a historical hybrid fiction drama focusing on politic and mellodrama. Starring Yoo Seung Ho, Kim So Hyun, L, Yoon So Hee, Heo Joon Ho, Park Cheol Min, this drama will start airing on May 10, replacing ‘Radiant Office’.
