May is Going to be a ‘Big Match’ for Television Dramas

May 22 is going to be a big day for both national and cable tv channels which are going to start airing their new dramas. After the presidential election on May 9, new four new dramas are coming to your television!

First is KBS with ‘Fight for My Way’ starring Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won. In ‘Fight for My Way’, Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won are youth who lack the qualities needed to have a good life. The story will revolve around the progress of their relationship, from long time friends to lovers.

Second is MBC with its new drama, ‘Lookout’, an action/thriller drama starring Kim Young Kwang, Lee Si Young, and Key SHINee.

tvN will also start airing ‘Circle’, starring Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Kang Woo, on May 22. The story in ‘Circle’ will have two sets, 2017 and 2037.

Lastly, SBS will premiere its new colossal drama, ‘My Sassy Girl’ one week after the other dramas. ‘My Sassy Girl’, starring Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo, will replace ‘Saimdang, Light’s Diary’.

Which drama among these four will win the viewership rating competition? Will it be the romantic-comedy ‘Fight for My Way, the thriller ‘Lookout’, the sci-fi ‘Circle’, or the historical romance ‘My Sassy Girl’?
