Upcoming Pre-Produced Television Dramas which Will Come after ‘Man to Man’
Seems like public’s worry over pre-produced dramas is ending soon.
After the success of ‘Descendants of the Sun’ last year, many pre-produced dramas flopped in terms of rating. The examples are ‘Entourage’, ‘Tomorrow With You’, and ‘Saimdang, Light’s Diary’. However, thanks to ‘Man to Man’, which had already gathered quite satisfying result ever since its first episodes, the ‘dignity’ of pre-produced dramas is slowly arising. In the following months, several pre-produced dramas will dominate the small screen, and some of them are SBS ‘My Sassy Girl’, MBC ‘King Loves’, also JTBC ‘Woman of Dignity’ and ‘The Package’.
‘My Sassy Girl’ is Joo Won’s last drama before entering the army. The drama is a remake from a movie with the same name. Other than Joo Won, ‘My Sassy Girl’ is starred by Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Jung Sin, Kim Yoon Hye, dan Kwak Hee Sung. Lot of fans can hardly wait to see Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo’s acting in this drama, which is set in Joseon era.
Meanwhile, ‘King Loves’ has also stole public’s attention with its line up, which consists of Im Si Wan, Hong Jong Hyun, and Yoona. This drama is about the ambition and love story between two guy and one girl living in Goryeo.
JTBC has two pre-produced dramas in queue: ‘Woman of Dignity’ and ‘The Package’. ‘Woman of Dignity’, starring Kim Hee Sun dan Kim Sun A, will focus on the life of people from the high class, while ‘The Package’, starring Lee Yeon Hee, Jung Yong Hwa, Yoon Park, and Choi Woo Sik, will tell the travel journey of a group of youth.
‘My Sassy Girl’ and ‘Woman of Dignity’ will start airing on May and June, while ‘King Loves’ and ‘The Package’ has not set a specific date yet.
