The Competition Between ‘Ruler’ Yoo Seung Ho and ‘Suspicious Partner’ Ji Chang Wook

On May 11th, a new Wednesday-Thursday drama from MBC ‘Ruler – Master of the Mask’ and SBS ‘Suspicious Partner’ aired its first episode.

The channels in the country simultaneously aired the first episode of the drama played by Yoo Seung Ho and Ji Chang Wook respectively, which has become a topic of conversation even before they are said to be competing against each other.

‘Ruler’ is a drama set in Joseon era where the crown prince Lee Sun (Yoo Seung Ho) faces struggles to maintain his power. Yoo Seung Ho plays as Lee Sun with an acting full of emotions.

One of the scenes showed Yoo Seung Ho who took off his mask and went outside. He smiled brightly. In unfolding the reason why he had to wear the mask, he became even more curious. At the end of the drama, a scene where Lee Sun and Han Ga Eun (Kim So Hyun) met each other was aired, it raises the expectation of their love story.

‘Suspicious Partner’ which is starring Ji Chang Wook, also shows its charm. ‘Suspicious Partner’ is a romantic-comedy drama about a man and a woman being chased by a killer who keeps repeating his action.

In ‘Suspicious Partner’, Ji Chang Wook plays as Noh Ji Wook as a genius prosecutor. Ji Chang Wook depicts a character who looks cold outside but actually very warm and kind, just like the description about the character from the very start. He was accused of doing pervert things to Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun), however, he still helped Eun Bong Hee to get away from his ex-boyfriend, in this scene, Ji Chang Wook shows a gentle side of his character and their romance is awaited by the public.
