Kim Woo Bin’s Nasopharyngeal Cancer Only Happens to 1 Among 100.000 People
Actor Kim Woo Bin recently found himself in an unfortunate situation as he has been diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer.
Entertainment program KBS 2TV ‘Entertainment Weekly’, which was aired on the 27th, reported that Kim Woo Bin is currently battling nasopharyngeal cancer.
Nasopharyngeal cancer is a rare cancer that strikes only one person per 100,000 people. Kim Woo Bin’s agency stated that the actor was merely visiting the hospital after experiencing some abnormal symptoms in his body, only to find out that he’s suffering from nasopharyngeal cancer.
A National Cancer Center specialist said that in cases of nasopharyngeal cancer, the current standard treatment for patients is to be treated with anticancer drugs and radiation therapy.
