The Third Episode of ‘Fight for My Way’ Hit Double-Digit Rating!

How did KBS’ drama ‘Fight for My Way’ start its counterattack? The drama started its rating with 5.4%. Later, in episode 2, the rating increased to 6%, but it was still under SBS ‘Whisper’ and MBC ‘Lookout’ in Monday-Tuesday’s drama slot.

In the 3rd episode, the atmosphere felt different. The third episode which was aired on May 29th earned a double digit 10.7% rating and made it to the first place of the Monday-Tuesday drama slot.

The reasons for the dramatic increase in ‘Fight for My Way’ rating are the strong chemistry between Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won, and the realistic script on the life and problems of youth in 20-30 age range, which made the rating of the drama increases due to the audience’s word of mouth regarding its quality.

The story of friendship and love between Go Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) and Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won) is able to melt the hearts of the viewers. In the episode that was aired on May 29th, Go Dong Man tried to fulfill his dream and showed his support for Choi Ae Ra, making Choi Ae Ra happy.

In a general romantic comedy drama, even in a difficult reality, a broken-hearted girl with dreams will usually meet a rich chaebol. ‘Fight for My Way’ avoid that kind of high-class narrative by showing a more realistic life, making the drama feels more real.

Choi Ae Ra said “We must do what we want to do,” seeing her like that makes Go Dong Man reminisce the dreams that he wanted to forget. Meanwhile, in this episode Choi Ae Ra failed in the in-house announcer interview. The manager said, “No matter how good you are, if you do not have specifications, if you do not have someone who is a manager at the company, then you can not possibly work here.” This scene reflects the current situation that left a bitterness behind.
