‘Goblin’ Conquers Southeast Asia TV Channels
‘Goblin’ is not only popular in Korea, but also in Southeast Asia.
‘The Lonely and Shining Goblin’ is now aired in Singapore, Hongkong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei Darussalam 24 hours after it was aired in Korea through OhK channel. OhK is a 100% Hallyu channel that is managed under Turner Asia Pacific.
In Singapore, especially, the 10th episode of ‘Goblin’ which was broadcasted on January 1, gained a raise of 153% rating if compared to its first episode. It is considered as the best achievement for a paid TV cable with Hallyu as its main content.
Through ‘Goblin’, OhK successfully topped the competition between other Hallyu channels with rating twice or thrice higher than its competitors.
With only 4 episodes remaining, with Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook as the main casts, ‘Goblin’ has reached a 15% rating of viewers.
