The Death of a Renowned Artist in “Missing Nine”, Will the Uninhabited Island Imitate Hell?
The second episode of MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “Missing Nine”, which was broadcasted on January 19th, portrays the victims of a plane accident wandering off an uninhabited island.
Artists from Legend Entertainment, along with some staff, get into a plane accident and are stranded. Ra Bong Hee (Baek Jin Hee), who gets awake when she goes underwater, sees Seo Joon O (Jung Kyoung Ho) afloat, and tries to drag him to land.
After he gains back his consciousness, Joon O recalls the accident and starts to lost control, while Bong Hee tries to go on with life. Joon O and Bong Hee starts to save the water supply, collect various food, and sometimes quarrel for their lives.
Bong Hee is the only survivor of that plane accident. After four months, she goes back to Korea and starts to undergo various investigations. Not only does Bong Hee forget about the accident four months ago, she also does not remember what happened to Joon O and other survivors. Bong Hee shows her grief and seeks for help.
Back to the uninhabited island, Joon O and Bong Hee finally meet Lee Yeol (Chanyeol) and Ha Ji A (Lee Sun Bin). Even the top star Yoon So Hee (Ryu Won) is found, although she is badly shaken by the situation.
Yeol says to Bong Hee that he saw a corpse. By adding that, “No one will come to save us”, he destroys Bong Hee’s hopes. In addition, So Hee’s shocked state makes the uninhabited island imitate the atmosphere of a hell.
