EXO Still Could Not Believe Their 4th Album Sold Over 1 Million Copies
On August 11th, EXO’s 4th album ‘THE WAR’ sales exceeded 1 million copies, which is the standard of album sales. EXO got 4 times in a row to create a record that reached 1 million sales.
‘THE WAR’ was released on July 19th. EXO, whose album release reaches 1 million for 4 times, expressed their opinion. “It has not been a month since the release of the album and I do not believe its sales reach 1 million copies, the more love gained it is felt to be paid with the efforts.” And “This is probably thanks to the fans”.
The history of EXO’s 1 million sales started in 2013. It was the 1st album reaching sales of 1 million copies. It was recorded in the music industry after 12 years. After that, the 2nd album in 2015 and the 3rd album in 2016 reached 1 million copies of the sale as well/
EXO’s 4th album also placed 1 st in Korean song and music sites. With the song ‘Ko Ko Bop’, they won the trophy in cable and digital music in total with winning 11 trophies. In addition, ECO won 1st on the global music charts including the top Korean music charts. Placed number 1 on iTunes Album Chart in 42 countries, US Billboard World Album Chart 1st position for 2 consecutive weeks, 1st position in Apple Music Album Chart in 18 areas, and 1st position on United World Chart.
