Gong Yoo Sends Message to Fans As ‘Goblin’ Ends: “Though There’s Always Regrets, Thank You.”
As the drama ‘Goblin’, in which Gong Yoo plays the role of Goblin Kim Shin, came to an end recently, the actor sends a farewell message to fans.
Gong Yoo said, “I’m not a different person than I was in the past, but because this character is different than any other characters I have ever portrayed, it was quite a burden. I also felt some burdens working with excellent writers, directors, and staffs, but thanks to the great love and support from everyone, the drama could finish successfully.”
He also revealed, “It took me a long time before I decided to accept this drama, and I promised to give my best. As we wrapped up filming, there are things that I regret because I think I should have done better. However, thank you for giving me (and the drama) so much love.”
He also followed his statement with “Thank you to all of staff members who have been working very hard in the shooting locations. Without your hard work, there would be no Kim Shin.” and then, “I also want to say thank you to junior and senior actors who joined me in Goblin. Working with you all have been such a honor for me.”
Gong Yoo then ends his statement by reciting a dialogue from the drama. “Every moment with you shines. When the days were good, when the days were bad, and when it was perfect, I love them all.”
