Lee Yo Won Shares Her Opinion about ‘Night Light’
Actress Lee Yo Won revealed her feeling about her drama ‘Night Light’.
Lee Yo Won recently did an interview to promote her new film ‘Yes, Family’. In the film, Lee Yo Won plays the role of Sung Kyung, the second child of Oh siblings. Though known as arrogant and sharp-tongued, in real life, Sung Kyung is actually someone who’s willing to sacrifice for her family.
‘Yes, Family’ is a story about a family who never cares about each other, and suddenly, a new younger brother appears between them. Lee Yo Woon plays as the second child named Soo Kyung, Jeong Man Sik as the first child named Sung Ho (who’s already 40 years old), Esom as Oh Joon Mi, a part time college student, and Jung Joon Won as the younger brother named Nak. ‘Yes, Family’, the first movie that is distributed by The Walt Disney Company Korea Studio, is going to be released on February 15.
Recently, Lee Yo Won appeared in MBC drama ‘Night Light.’ Playing the role of Seo Yi Kyung who wants to build a company, Yo Won receives a lot of praises for her portrayal as a diligent woman. Though the drama did not receive high rating, fans considered her as the reason the drama managed to survive.
Asked about the drama, Lee Yo Won sounded her agreement. She revealed, “I’m grateful that the drama brings out loyal fans. I did not expect Chinese fans would love it. There are also loyal viewers in Korea. When I received the synopsis for the first time, I really wanted to try a cool character that I had never played before. When will I have the chance to portray a character like this in the future? I think that’s why women love this character.”
