Food Recipe: Radish Kimbab

For 2 people

  • 1 ½ bowl of warm rice
  • 2 sheets of seaweed
  • 100gr radish (cut to a size of about 5cm)
  • 4 sesame leaves (or other vegetable 8gr)
  • 4 slices of meat (can be replaced with sausage)

Seasoning for the radish

  • 1 tablespoon of red bean flour powder
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil

Steps

Marinate the meat with 3 cups of water and boil. Slice the radish to a size of 0,5 cm then cut it again to smaller pieces. Put it in a bowl of water and let it sit for 10 minutes. Rinse in cold water then let it dry.

Put the seasonings for the radish into the bowl then mix together.

Rinse the marinated meat to reduce the water.

Mix the rice with seasonings then put it over the seaweed sheets.

Place 2 sesame leaves, 2 slices of meat, and radish in the middle then roll it together by hands.

Follow the steps again to make another Kimbab. Afterward, cut the Kimbab into a bite size. Spread sesame oil on the surface to make it look more presentable.
