Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin She Kyung’s ‘Bride of the Water God’ is Confirmed to Air in July
Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin Se Kyung will greet fans with their new drama, ‘Bride of the Water God’, this July.
Citing a source from the drama team, ‘Bride of the Water God’, with scriptwriter Jung Yoon Jung and director Kim Byung Soo, is confirmed to fill tvN’s Monday-Tuesday slot after ‘Circle: Two Worlds Connected’ finishes in the middle of July.
‘Bride of the Water God’ is adapted from an original comic (manhwa), which tells the story of a girl who is sacrificed by city dwellers who are tired of years of drought, to become the bride of the Water God. In contrast to the comic version, the story in the drama will be suited to the present.
In ‘Bride of the Water God’, Nam Joo Hyuk will play the Water God, while Shin Se Kyung becomes his bride. Other casts in the drama are Gong Myung, who plays Bi Ryum, and Krystal, who plays Hyera (Mura).
The actors of ‘Bride of the Water God’ has done the script reading event together in March. They are currently still filming the drama.
