BTS’ Japanese Version of ‘Blood, Sweat, and Tears’ Dominates Oricon Weekly Chart

Based on the data from Japanese Oricon chart, BTS’ seventh Japanese single, ‘Blood, Sweat, & Tears’, has managed to sell over 230,000 copies and perched on the first position of the chart for a week.

BTS occupies the second position in the chart, with the highest selling points among other foreign singers. They recorded over 200 thousand points in the first week’s singles chart of the hip hop artist category overseas, which proved their popularity in Japan.

BTS took the first position of the Oricon chart for the first time after debuting in Japan in June 2015 with the song ‘For You’.

On May 10th, BTS released three Japanese version songs, namely ‘Blood, Sweat, & Tears’, ‘Spring Day’, and ‘Not Today’. These songs not only managed to occupy the first position of Oricon chart, but also succeeded on iTunes charts in 13 countries.
