Song Joong Ki’s Character Poster in ‘Battleship Island’ Is Showed At Cannes Film Festival
Song Joong Ki’s character poster from the movie ‘Battleship Island’ attracted attention at Cannes Film Festival.
At the 70th Cannes Film Festival which was held along with Cannes Film Market and opened on the 17th, there is a display of a character photo of Song Joong Ki in the movie ‘Battleship Island’. Song Joong Ki has previously been famous as an Asian star thanks to his ‘Descendants of the Sun’ drama.
‘Battleship Island’ is a masterpiece with a background of the Japanese colonial period telling the story of 400 Joseon people who risked their lives trying to escape from Hashima Island after being forced to build a warship. Song Joong Ki plays as Park Moo Young, who is on a battleship to rescue the main figures of the independence movement. In the photo, Song Joong Ki is staring at somewhere while standing among the other Koreans and the candlelight.
The film ‘Battleship Island’ will be released this summer. The film is directed by Ryu Seung Wan, who had previously achieved a success with his film titled ‘Veteran’.
