‘Warriors of the Dawn’ is Going to be Released on June 16 in USA & Canada
The movie ‘Warriors of the Dawn’, which was launched at the 70th Cannes Film Festival, has achieved sale success in Philippines, Taiwan, New Zealand and Australia due to the interesting teasers and posters that attracted buyers, coupled with the bromance chemistry that was displayed between Yeo Jin Goo (‘The Moon Embracing The Sun’) and Lee Jung Jae (‘Assassination’, ‘The Face Reader’). Soon, the film will also sign a release contract with a Hong Kong distributor.
‘Warriors of the Dawn’ is also confirmed to be released in North America on June 16. The movie was picked up by 20th Century Fox as its North American distributor. As the movie is targeting 30 countries as its goalpost, it seems that ‘Warriors of the Dawn’ is going on the right way to achieve it.
‘Warriors of the Dawn’ is the first Korean historical film to be released this year, on May 31st. The film dates back to 1592, telling the story of Prince Gwang Hae (Yeo Jin Goo), who is replacing the position of his fleeing father to fight against Japanese attack.
