Lee Dong Gun’s Transformation From ‘Lovers in Paris’, ‘The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop’, to ‘Queen of 7 Days’
On May 31st, Lee Dong Gun’s latest drama ‘Queen of 7 Days’ has started airing on KBS 2TV channel. In the drama, Lee Dong Gun plays a very powerful and evil king.
In the drama, Lee Dong Gun plays the tenth king of the Joseon dynasty. Lee Dong Gun, who has debuted for 19 years, always transforms on every role he chooses. The characters that he played are also considered quite interesting.
From the sitcom ‘Friends’, drama ‘Ruler of Your Own World’, ‘Sangdoo, Let’s Go To School’, ‘Little Bride’, and ‘Lovers in Paris’, we can see how Lee Dong Gun makes his character feel alive.
Last year, as he took on the role in ‘The Gentleman of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop’, he built a fine chemistry with actress Jo Yoon Hee. He showed a very strong charisma and won an award as the best actor in the KBS Drama Awards 2016.
