Kim So Hyun Decided to Enter the Palace to Avenge Her Father in ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’
In episode 17-18 of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’ (7/6), Han Ga Eun (Kim So Hyun) finally decided to enter the palace.
Hwa Goon met Dae Mok who intended to kill the Crown Prince (Yoo Seung Ho). Hwa Goon volunteered to become Pyunsoo’s future chairman and finally joined the organization on condition that Dae Mok should not kill the Crown Prince.
Ga Eun felt sorry after learning that Chun Soo / Crown Prince pretended not to know her to protect her from Pyeonsoo group. When Chun Soo finally confessed his identity to Ga Eun, “I will not leave you anymore”, Chun Soo promised her.
Chun Soo started gradually collecting power in order to fight Pyeonsoo group. However, Pyeonsoo group again made an evil act by poisoning children. Ga Eun took care of a child who was poisoned, but unfortunately, the child eventually died. Hearing the news that Ga Eun took care of the poisoned child, Pyunsoo decided to look for Ga Eun. Knowing the plan, Chun Soo asked Ga Eun to hide in Incheon, because the place would be safer for her.
Before Ga Eun left for Incheon, Chun Soo was determined to admit that he was actually the real Crown Prince. Chun Soo said, “I want to make a confession that I should have said since five years ago”. However, Ga Eun preceded him by saying, “Master, please promise me. Even though I’m not there, do not get into dangerous situations carelessly and let yourself get hurt.” Which made Chun Soo could not convey his intention.
When he heard rumors that Ga Eun would go to Incheon and her herbal store would be closed, Lee Sun (L) went to see Ga Eun and his family for the last time. At that moment, he finally met his younger sister, Kko Mool. Suddenly, Dae Mok come, which made Lee Sun terribly frightened and apologized to Dae Mok for having gone to see his real family. Lee Sun was shocked to learn that his sister called someone ‘Big Brother’, and it turned out that person was the Crown Prince, whom Lee Sun thought already dead. Lee Sun then kneeled before Dae Mok to distract Dae Mok from the Crown Prince. Thanks to Lee Sun, the Crown Prince could escape.
Meanwhile, Ga Eun has made up her mind to enter the palace in order to avenge his father without anyone knowing. Chun Soo, who was late to know it, could only watch Ga Eun from afar.
