Jo Jung Suk Holds His First Fan Meeting, ‘The Room’, in Taiwan
Actor Jo Jung Suk was successfully crowned as ‘The Latest Hallyu Star’. Jo Jung Suk held a fan meeting titled ‘The Room’ on June 11th at 7PM in Taipei Gymnasium, Taiwan. The event managed to bring in 1100 local fans. During his career, Jo Jung Suk has met many fans abroad to promote his drama, but this was his first time meeting fans as himself alone.
For the fan meeting, Jo Jung Suk was directly involved in all stages of preparation, from planning to production. He managed to entertain fans by dancing and singing, showing his abilities completely as an extraordinary artist. He also shared stories about filming ‘Drug King’ and several previous projects, such as ‘Oh My Ghost’ and ‘Incarnation of Jealousy’, which are very popular in Taiwan. On June 10th, over 300 Taiwanese fans gathered at Taiwan’s international airport to see Jo Jung Suk’s arrival. Fans gave him a welcome, bringing posters written with “Finally we meet after a long wait”.
Jo Jung Suk will continue his fan meeting on July 2 in Thailand and July 8 in Japan.
