It’s Now Park Seo Joon’s Turn to Admit His Feelings for Kim Ji Won in ‘Fight for My Way’
In the latest episode of KBS2’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Fight for My Way’ (13/6), the love story between Ko Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) and Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won) has finally blossomed.
In the previous episode, Dong Man entertains Ae Ra who is hurt by Park Moo Bin (Choi Woo Sik) by hugging and patting her head. While weeping, Ae Ra says to Dong Man, “Something is strange with me. Every time you do that, my heart thumps,” Expressing her real feelings.
After that, Dong Man and Ae Ra become awkward toward each other. In order to get them back on track, Dong Man talks about Ae Ra’s first love. Ae Ra says, “My first love really hurt me. Because of him, my arm is still sick until now.”
The scene then goes back to 2011. On the day when Dong Man was going to start his military service, Ae Ra made porridge for Dong Man and put it in front of his house. She also wrote, “I’ll wait for you”. Unfortunately, the paper got blown away with the wind. Dong Man came out of the house finding Hye Ran and thought that Hye Ran had been waiting for him all night. They kissed. Ae Ra was very surprised to see them and accidentally fell on Dong Man’s bike. That was how Ae Ra’s arm got hurt.
However, Dong Man does not remember the day at all. He is constantly curious about Ae Ra’s first love.
In this episode, it is shown that Ae Ra and Dong Man’s dreams begin to walk on a clear path. Ae Ra has an interview to become the host of a TV station, while Dong Man will debut as a martial arts athlete. Unfortunately, Ae Ra does not pass the interview stage, because she is deemed to not have sufficient qualifications. On her way home, Ae Ra cries silently.
In his debut match, Dong Man faces a famous former athlete, Ki Gwon. At the end, Dong Man manages to win the match.
Dong Man walks into the audience arena where the reporters gather. It turns out that Ae Ra is watching the match wearing a hat to cover her face. She also covers her ears and cries because she cannot bear to see Dong Man fighting on stage. To Dong Man, Ae Ra says that she will be happier if Dong Man stops doing martial arts because it worries her so much. Hearing that, Dong Man just stares at Ae Ra. “I’m in big trouble. You look beautiful even when you’re crying,” Dong Man said, revealing his heart.
