Seo In Guk Released from Mandatory Military Service

Seo In Guk received a notification of him being released from mandatory military service. This decision is unfortunate, being unexpected by the actor himself.

Previously, he underwent a re-examination of joint disorders to be ranked as a fifth-grade health. Men ranked at this status are not qualified to undergo military service.

Seo In Guk’s agency announced the news through a press release on June 14th.

On March 31st, Seo In Guk received an order to return home from the 5th Yeoncheon Training Division in Gyeonggi Province, demanding a re-examination of his left ankle bone due to an osteochondral lesion. On April 27th, the Seoul Regional Military Service conducted the re-examination, but on June 5th, the Daegu Central Inspection Center received a notice for further examination.

Candidates with fifth-grade health are not allowed to be an active soldier and must become a part of the civil defense until the age of 40 instead.

The one who feels disappointed the most is, of course, Seo In Guk. He has given many preparations and gifts to his fans before going to the military, but now is unable to fulfill his duty.

His Agency delivered that there are no further plans for now. It seems that getting a treatment is more important, as he cannot make a comeback in the near future. It seems that Seo In Guk’s heart is not ready yet.

The issue of this mandatory military has ended after 3 months, but the public doesn’t know when they will be able to see Seo In Guk again yet. Along with the daily support of fans, we hope that he will regain his health and get back to the cheerful Seo In Guk we know as soon as possible.
