‘Ruler’ L Becomes A Bad Guy Because of His Ambitions
L in ‘Ruler – Master of the Mask’ raised the interest in the drama by turning his back on Yoo Seung Ho.
In MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama, ‘Ruler – Master of the Mask’ on the June 22, Lee Seon (L) is angry over the gift and the letter that Dae Mok (Heo Joon Ho) gave to the crown prince who is in disguise.
There are two medicines to eat in the gift box along with a letter because it is the antidote to the poison. Lee Seon first feeds one drug to Sang Goong, and Sang Goong starts vomiting blood and then dies. The crown prince thought that Lee Seon was trying to hurt himself.
Lee Seon gets angry and goes to see Dae Mok, revealing that he is a false crown prince and that Dae Mok who is the head of an organization is already known by the real crown prince. And he says he wants to be the real king. Then Dae Mok sends an agreement that he will kill the crown prince, making Lee Seon as the real king.
Lee Seon not only wants the king’s position alone. Lee Seon wants to get Han Gaeun (Kim So Hyun)’s heart. So Lee Seon betrays the crown prince and reveals the true Crown Prince’s identity to Han Ga Eun. Han Ga Eun is frustrated by the fact that her beloved man is the cause of her father’s death. Lee Seon said that he will continue to protect her.
Lee Seon told the crown prince that he would be the real king. And he also said, “This is the last friendship I can give,” then Dae Mok tries to let the crown prince go to his troops and run away and then says not to return. Lee Seon even threatened, “When you come back, I’ll kill you with my own hands.”
During this time, Lee Seon seemed to be nervous and weak. However, Lee Seon, who is on Dae Mok’s side, changed the situation by harboring the hidden anger and placing the crown prince in a crisis.
L, who plays as Lee Seon, throws a powerful acting and increases the tension in the story. Meanwhile, L’s transformation, which acts as a passive character in the drama ‘Ruler’, who becomes Dae-mok’s puppet King and his unrequited love for Han Gaeun, makes this drama more interesting.
