Yeon Woo Jin, Park Min Young, and Jang Hyun Sung are Trapped in ‘Seven Days Queen’
On July 19th, ‘Seven Days Queen’ aired its 15th episode. This episode showed Lee Yoong’s frustration even after Yeok had given up the throne, which he got from the secret letter written by their father (the former King). Yoong realized that he wanted Yeok’s wife (Chae Kyung) more than his throne.
While drunk, Yoong came to the Queen Dowager’s room and babbled, “Call Yeok here. I will give up my throne as King. I will replace him as Chae Kyung’s husband, and as your son,” and then he fell asleep in the Queen Dowager’s lap. To him, the Queen Dowager said, “It’s too late now. If you want it, be reborn as my daughter. Then I will take care of you.”
After Yeok left the palace with Chae Kyung, they spent a romantic night together at an inn. The next morning, he went to apologize to his friends, the Snail Wives. “Sorry for giving up my desire to be King. But after I did it, I realized that this is the first time I feel truly happy. I wanted to take the throne because I want to have my revenge for Yoong, but surely someone cannot be a King just because of revenge, right?”
Behind everyone’s back, the Queen Dowager and Yoon Myung Hye (Go Bo Kyul) made a plan to prevent Yeok and Chae Kyung to live in the countryside. They plotted to ruin the relationship between Lee Yoong and Shin Su Geun, Chae Kyung’s father and also the Second State Councilor (Jang Hyun Sung). If it happens, Yoong would threaten Shin Su Geun and Chae Kyung’s lives, and Yeok would realize that he could not give up his desire to take the throne from Yoong.
When Chae Kyung received the order to come to the Palace, she thought the King would grant her the permission to live in the countryside. However, Yoong told her, “I have ordered Shin Su Geun to annihilate the Snail Wives. If he comes back here empty-handed, I will have to punish him and his family. Including you.”
At that time, Yeok went back to the pawnshop to warn his Snail Wives friend, and Shin Su Geun came out to tell him to go away with Chae Kyung as soon as possible. Shin Su Geun said, “This is the last call that I could make as Chae Kyung’s father, and as your father-in-law. Go!” However, Im Sa Hong caught Shin Su Geun helping Yeok to get away. He brought Shin Su Geun in front of the King along with a false proof that Shin Su Geun is helping Yeok to plot treason against the King.
