Lee Hong Ki Was Mistaken as Jang Geun Suk in Japan?
On July 26th, Sandara Park and Lee Hong Ki appeared in JTBC’s ‘Let’s Eat Dinner Together’. They had a dinner with the show’s members in Shinjuku, one of the most popular areas in Tokyo, Japan.
Sandara Park and Lee Hong Ki, who introduced themselves in Japanese, looked pretty expert with their Japanese language skills. Both of them also looked relaxed talking with the ‘Kyudong Brothers’.
Shortly after Lee Hong Ki walked around Shinjuku, there were local who greeted him with ‘Geunjjang’ (name for Jang Geun Seuk). Lee Hong Ki just smiled and explained, “Sometimes people do misunderstand.”
After that, Kang Ho Dong asked “How is Jang Geun Seuk’s popularity in Japan?” Sandara Park replied, “In Japan, there are two buildings with Jang Keun Seuk’s face. People are used to see Bae Yong Jun’s face,” explaining the power possessed by Jang Geun Seuk.
